Slow play can be a real problem at most golf clubs. If you are a club secretary or in a similar position, then this tool can help you to monitor and analyse the speed of play.

Typically you would gather data from medals/competitions. Input the player names in each group, start time, finish time, and also specify your recommended max round times and finishing gaps.

The tool will then automatically calculate a range of statistics - 

• Number of games in total
• Round time and finishing gap for each game
• Identify and count number and % of games over recommended time
• Identify and count number and % of games over recommended finishing gap
• Identify average round length, longest round and shortest round

Over time, this information will enable you to identify any issues in general, or if there are particular players who need to be given a "gentle prod" to speed up.
